Even though some of the drives in Alaska were on the longer side, the constant awe dropping views made the time fly by.

This trip was a 7 nights, 8 day trip at the beginning of August. I knew I wouldn’t do well on a cruise – for several reasons, so I tried my best to see the best of the area by car. I luckily had friends travel by car the year before, so I was able to modify their itinerary to fit our wish list.

Drive times include all side trips I added in between the two base cities.
